Itinerary
Day 01, 02
Transfer to your hotel in Kalpitiya, which consists of 14 islands and is known for its waterfront magnificence. The next morning, leave early for a dolphin-watching session. This might be an unforgettable experience in your life. Many different types of dolphins congregate in large groups off Sri Lanka's Kalpitiya coast.
Day 03
On this day, enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari in Wilpattu National Park. The gorgeous Sri Lankan leopard, which is native to the island, calls this home. Witness the wild environment alongside the Sri Lankan elephant, sloth bear, and leopard.
Day 04, 05
Make your way to Habarana where you will witness the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, considered as the eighth wonder of the world. Enjoy an exciting Minneriya Jeep Safari the following day, which will ensure you encounter wild elephants gathering near the lake. Finish the day with an excursion through the village that highlights this island's cultural heritage.
Day 06
Travel to Ramboda via Kandy, where you can stop at notable landmarks. Enjoy a local excursion in Kandy whilst admiring the colonial beauty. You will experience the city's famous 'Udarata' culture. Visit the famed Ramboda waterfalls and take a dip if you like!
Day 07
Witness a breathtaking train journey from Nanu Oya to Ella, complete with lush green scenery and gushing waterfalls. Enjoy the rest of the day in the chilly, misty weather.
Day 08, 09 & 10
Early morning, climb the Little Adams Peak which is a location that is revered across many different religions worldwide. Next, visit the Nine Arches Bridge which is among this island’s most photographed locations. Say goodbye to Ella and make your way to Arugam Bay. Spend the next two days in Arugam Bay taking in the tranquil surroundings and beach vibes. Engage in water sports whilst you enjoy this surfing environment!
Day 11
Head to Yala for an exhilarating Jeep Safari, which is home to many leopards and elephants. Enjoy the day whilst spotting wildlife and making it one of your most unforgettable experiences.
Day 12
Drive to your accommodation in Udawalawe and embark on a thrilling jeep safari through the National Park. A range of endemic and migrant birds may be discovered. Additionally, various other animals including crocodiles, sambar deer, leopards, wild boar, and elephants will also be seen.
Day 13, 14
These two days are dedicated to letting you enjoy this island's tranquil beaches. Early morning, visit the Dutch Fort in Galle which is regarded as Asia's best preserved colonial sea fortress. The oldest breadfruit tree on the island is said to be one of the historical sites inside the fort. Savour the remainder of the day by lounging on the beach. Take a whale-watching trip in Mirissa the following morning to get a chance to see Sri Lanka’s magnificent whales. Take a bike ride through the village to end the day and enjoy the local culture.
